Cold shrink tube is an open ended cable protection shrink tube, made from EPDM materials. It is a popular alternative to heat shrink products. Cold shrink tube is designed to from tight sealing protection tube without the use of a heat gun or any other tool like tape of glue. The easy-to-apply products which came in a variety of sizes, provide protection for cables that are exposed to a lot of wear and tear.
The cold applied products are artificially stretched at the factoryand a breakaway core is inserted to keep it in place. To apply, just position the tubing and slowly remover the plastic core. The material will quickly contract and form a tight seal. Installation doesn`t have to heated up with special tools, also you don`t need to be a professional to use it, anybody can use.
